In my paper it says it was an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3  I've never experienced an earthquake in my life, we seldom get them over here in Belgium.

No it didnt feel destructive at all, just stuff in my room shook around a lot, books, beer glasses, xbox etc. Lots of people outside now, looks like it's woke this street up at least.
heard this in the news on the radio station i wake up to each morning, here in New York.  It was like a 4.7 on the richter scale.  I hope everything is alright over there.
