a bug that still happens now as well as in the old patch is that the TV Guided missiles for the helicopter often will not fire at all. When this happens is completely random (though conveniently often when I'm in a rush to take down AA or dogfighting another chopper).
I had some graphic errors also. I would notice a section of buildings missing when I pointed at them. Also, I noticed that if I aim directly at a vehicle in the distance it will dissapear, but when I look away from it, I can see it again. This actually happened to me before 1.2, but seems worse now. The dissapearing buildings only happened after the patch.
That was listed as being fixed in 1.2. Guess thats yet another thing they failed at.[iLL]h8+ wrote:

I have Had the commander problem before, where you and no one else can apply to be commander, but i have also had that happen before the new patch came out, so i dont think it is related to the patch,

16) Incorrect version number in BFHQ.
When I installed the patch I thought I downloaded 1.12. How can you release the patch with incorrect version number. Come on EA/DICE, take sometime and put together a decent patch!

i've noticed another bug they haven't fixed, although it does only affect a small proportion of users - if you have 'move foward' bound to a mouse button, you still can't use any of the communication commands (yes, no, either commo rose etc) whilst moving. minor, but irritating - especially as the bug was only introduced in a recent patch...

1) screenshots don´t work anymore
2) sometimes you the message & stats!!! are showing the wrong weapon for killing someone
(example: situation:driving in a tank - capture flag -- put mines around the flag - driving to the next flag in the same tank as before, after a hile you received a message d-tect [M1A1] xyz, you killed xyz), this works also for knife
3) it could happen that you can´t reject from beeing commander - the only way is to leave the server or waiting for the end of round
4) you spawn and you where unable to move, because you`re with same parts of you soldier inside a building or ground....sometimes jumping will help...or you have to wait until the enemy kills you

5) BFHQ shows the me the wrong next rang. I´m now Master Sergeant...but it shows me my next rang will be First Sergeant....100% of needed points (of course:)...but my next rang that was shown before is Master Gunnery Sergeant

Go to your awards and click on one of your older ribbons,they don't appear on the left(big picture with the text)anymore,this is only with ribbons,it still works with badges and medals...at least that's how my BF2 reacts now.

Has anyone had any problems not being able to enter a vehicle? This happen before with 1.12 but I have seen it alot more now with 1.2. I have to exit out of bf2 and then re-enter game so that I can enter vehicles...
I threw 2 flashbangs the other nightwith one click. They actually spread out. LOL

well, add another bug to the list:
*sometimes you shoot an AT rocket, it flyes directly through a tank /APC (aimed at the side). you just wonder and notice, that the AT doesnt reload and you have still 1 rocket in your launcher so that you can shoot again and hit

This has only happened to me one time but it was right after the patch came out, i was by train wreck on karkand, and i was looking down the hill, i was american, and all of a sudden without me killing anyone, my name came up and said PP-19 so-and-so. i was support and i never pick up kits unless its a medic kit. i didnt die, i didnt even shoot, it was just there. and i got points, so im not gonna complain or anything, but just thought i'd see if anyone else had that happen. by far the strangest thing i have seen.
wow, pretty damn dodgey, i have had the sound issue also, was in a chopper and the only way i could hear the rotors was turning to look to the left or right in the gunner position, only thing i could hear was squad commands etc
Not sure if it happens to semi's but the whenever I use a sniper rifle I sometimes get this glitch where if I unscope it doesn't actually unscope, but the scope jerks quite a bit and in a mad frenzy to get it to unscope it goes back to scope and eventually unscopes correctly.

When I was trying to take the Hotel flag at Karkand as a foot soldier... I was suddenly 'teleported' to the alley spawn... 10 meters into the air. I fell dead on the ground.
Anybody had a simular experience?

And yeah i had that AT bug happened to me the other day, was at kirkand and shot ay the tanks and went right thru it and i still had a missle in the AT to shoot again....

The 'PAUSE' button has never worked for me....!
I have seen all of these errors myself plus the mysterious code showing up for the new unlocks and the uav overhead. Extreme Lag!!!!!!!!!! and I have no pooch of a PC. ( 3.4 P4, 2GB of Ram, 80gb SATA HDD, ATIx800 PRO video card and I just recently reformatted.) I dont mind the new patch but if this continues I dont know what to do. My lagginess was so bad that I was unloading and showing full clips of ammo into guys just to have them be strafing and hit me once and die. Never was like that before. Hope hope they find an immediate respomse to this.
oK i have a question...what weopon in the game is called 'teabag'? Because i have never noticed one before and last night i got 'walter[teabag]xxxxxx'. 'WTF! A teabag!' i said to myself. A fucking teabag! I mean ok, tea has a lot of caffine in which can fuck up your heart, and yes i guess i do drink a lot of it. But still, i don't think i'm in danger of being killed by it! If anything it'll be the cigs that kill me. Or maybe someone got a used teabag, froze it, and fired it out of a shotgun. That may just kill me. If not, it would bloody hurt! Next i'll get 'walter[lack of exercise]xxxxx' !

This patch STINKS beyond belief. . .
I could care less about all the (potentially pointless & error introducing) tweeking they do to vehicles, kits & movements - as long as it plays (fun) and looks GOOD!
It doesn't play fun or look right (or sound right!).
After patching to 1.2
Often no weapon sounds for me. . .
AT rockets are going through vehicles (this has never happened personally to me before). . . 5 times in one round!
You've lost your connection to the server - 4 times last night!
Enemy spotted by commander - yet often no red dots spotted on HUD?
This standing up from prone thing takes longer than it should (and creates jerky awkward screen movement).
GL kills about the same - but the sound and animations are not in sync and don't look right - the GL goes through people often and they just fall over dead with no rag-doll flip-flop like before and sometimes no explosion.
Red-tag blue-tag bug - still there!
Barf this patch looks & sounds sucky.
Except the echo on the sniper unlock - that sounds nice.
