Hey, I just reformatted my computer and got all the latest drivers and patches etc.

I reinstalled BF2 and got the latest version ... every time i try to connect to any server it lets me in for a few seconds and then disconnects on me.

It isn't a punkbuster problem, it just tells me that i've lost connection ... please help?

I have that problem too. Last time I think I just waited a long time and one day I decided to reinstall and it worked.

no i don't have a firewall .. i might try reinstalling it though ... does anyone else have any other solutions .. i really don't feel like uninstalling and reinstalling it right now ... plus i'm pretty sure that's not the fix

i'm pretty sure it's not the EA servers today .. this has been happening for the last week .. it happened the first time i installed bf2 and started playing as well ...

i reinstalled it and now it works .. but it started doing it again and now it keeps on kicking me again

I have the same problem. Keeps pissing me off...
I updated PB and its ok then, for like 10min or so.
When i press cedilla(i think its called that) it says
[punkbuster] something something KicksForNameStealingAllRestrictionsOnThisServer
[punkbuster] something something similar like above
and it kicks me out

Nvr tried reinstalling it though..

Yea, I did that to.
Then added BF2 to the list, updated it and then it works, like I said for a lousy 10min or so.
Its like it has no effect... Sucks monkeys balls
Ill try it on one of ur servers

Have you checked the status of the Punkbuster A service? Sometimes mine gets set to 'disabled' and bad stuff happens. It doesn't sounds like that's your problem but it couldn't hurt to take a look at it.
