- Why can't the people on Lost just build a boat?!?!
Interesting ideas, but honestly hope that's not what it is. A big ball of spirits seems kind of cheesy to me, although that is feasible (for the show). And yeah, half the reason I'm so dissapointed with it is because in the pilot it was like actually creepy. And then you find out it's just a cloud.Spearhead wrote:
And yes, I agree watching it unfold on screen is a little more cheesy than I'd like it to be. Personally, I think its because of the bad CGI. (Meaning.. maybe if they made it look like a badass cloud of smoke and ripping peoples flesh off like it did to the pilot it'd be not as dumb)
And on second thought, you were right I think it was season 3. my bad.

Michael was a construction worker, not an engineer.

Because Lost is shit and they want to drag it out for 10 seasons.
Because its reality tv. They have to make it really long
I'm tellin you...it's purgatory.
that summary you posted was very interesting... you may have another convertSpearhead wrote:
and to the OP... Hurricane dude, that is an extrmely simplistic way of viewing the show Have you seen any of it? I know you're a fan of 24 and all, but go rent Lost season one, watch it, and you can get back to me as to why it sucks. Or maybe you'll like it, which is what I think will happen.
I just never saw LOST's first episodes so I didn't rly get into it... I'll get the first seasons.
edit: So basically the island was like some sort of super secret scientific research thing? But then shit hit the fan? And then more shit hit the fan and now the thing that kept the island from being super secret is gone?

The island was there for a long ass time, and someone discovered it. It already had people living on it, and this group called that discovered it and wanted to study it was called the Dharma Initiative (had it been real it'd be a conspiracy nut type of thing) builds a bunch of compounds and stations to study the island. Although they didn't understand the island, they knew it had great power and wanted to keep it for themselves. So ya, now the shits gonna hit the fan, big time.
And I'm glad you read the summary, lol. But Hurricane dude -- whatever you do, watch the show the way it unfolds. Watching new episodes on TV now is 5 times better if you know the backstory behind the characters and stuff.
Iwas kinda kidding when I say I think its perfect -- I dont think its perfect, by a longshot, but imo its better than any other show. Granted I don't watch many other shows, maybe I should give 24 and Prison Break a try.
