Sergeant Major of the Corps, just like in reality, is only awarded to ONE person at a time. That probably means you have to be the best of the best of the rank just below it. It says that you cant get it from points or awards, so that probably means your accuracty, friendly fire, teamwork... whatever will determine who will get it.

Youll probably need to search the records of BFHQ for that info. Let me see if I can take a quick look and see who it is ATM.
Things a Colonel now according to the records. I dont know exactly who it is now, but I can tell you it really isnt worth going for.
It's only awarded once a month and it is awarded to the best performing Sergeant Major e.g. the Sergeant Major with the most points. thingonaspringDS was promoted to Colonel so we have to wait until march before we get a new SMotC. He will probably have over 59,000 points then and his promotion to 2nd. Lt. won't take long.
Let's put it this way: Sergeant Major of the Corps is the guy immediately below the lowest ranked 2nd Lt.

SMOTC is awarded to the highest ranking Sergent Major each month. But since the new ranks are here, chances are you wont get to keep the rank more than a day or two before you get promoted to 2nd Lt.
