anytime before 1900 would suck for your life expectancy.

i think we have it pretty good today. no major natural disasters. plenty of food to waste. free porn and drunk immoral women.

I'd go back to the 1980s and make sure my parents had some kind of sexual relationship atleast before 1992, so that today I'd be perhaps, I dunno, in my early 20s sorta.

I guess you mean though what time period to LIVE in and not just go back for a little vacation.  I'd go to the future unless it's something unsavory.  If you mean go back on a vacation or something, then I'd first go to the Soviet Union in the 1930s and shoot Stalin and/or help in a coup that appoints Trotsky as leader of a democratic Soviet Union.  Then I'd go back to the 1800s around when Karl Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto and tell him he's full of crap, then I'd go back to when Hitler was a young lad and kidnap him and put him up for adoption in some other European country and hope he gets adopted by Jewish parents,

In a sense if I could go back to multiple time periods, I'd do so to discredit conspiracy theories. Oh and take down some bad guys. Dunno though, 1920's - 40's period maybe.

I would choose 2008,  be 18, and live in Groningen (The Netherlands)

I wish I was born just a few years earlier, so that I lived aged 10-20 from 1990 to 2000...

The 90's were special, really special, everything felt good....there were no worries in the world, nothing was over used, terrorism was unspoken of in most parts. Music was good, movies were good, gaming was good....everything was good, had loads of down to earth friends.

Post millenium has been OK, but ....meh.

As for where, California instead of London.
