If I'm walking some where at night and all of a sudden it gets really quite.
The noise of finger nails on a chalk board (or even thinking about it for that matter).

Magical movie moments do it for me. It's like heightened reality, I'd say the music is a crucial factor ...perhaps if we all had accompanying score music in real life we'd find everyday life more inspiring!
A few magic movie moments...
1. When Christian Bale gets picked up by the chopper in 'Rescue Dawn' (good call ThaReaper!)
2. Dennis Hopper's Sicilian speech in 'True Romance'.
3. When Big Chief picks up the huge sink in 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest'.
4. When Zach Braff shouts into the big quarry as the rain starts to fall in 'Garden State'.
5. When Julie Delpy plays her song on guitar to Ethan Hawke at the end of 'Before Sunset'.
6. The bit where Matt Damon breaks down in front of Robin Williams in 'Good Will Hunting' (as featured in 'Family Guy'!).
7. Robert Shaw's monologue about the SS Indianapolis in Jaws.
8. The bit where Beatrice Dalle and Jean Hughes-Anglade play piano to each other in 'Betty Blue'.
9. The end of 2001 A Space Odyssey.
10. The end of the first Rocky movie (cheesy but still really inspiring with the music).
11. Leo DiCaprio's funeral in 'The Departed' (bagpipe music at funerals always gets me).

Black Hawk Down and air shows. I'm so fascinated by the roar of the jet engines at air shows it makes my hair stand up.
And BHD makes it stand up because the music at the end when it shows the body bags.

A certain picture that I will not suffer you to see.

The barrel of a gun pointed at me.
Bridges of songs I love.
The Star Spangled Banner... mostly the end part... Land of the free, home of the brave. Oorah!
When someone has a really neat voice, like radio announcers.

When a stick it out with hair gel.
That song, but more specifically, Inspectahs opening verse, Method Mans and RZA's.

Yeah some national anthems really stir the spirit. I love the Irish anthem (when it's sung in Gaeilge) and the American and French ones are very good too.nonexistentusmc wrote:

Just cold weather
Welsh National Anthem and Flower of Scotland, this weekend I get both at the same match.
