What I got so far:
http://eagleeyez.deviantart.com/art/M4- … 0-76623562What I want to know in particular:
Is the size of the flashlight/laser roughly correct in relation to the gun?
Besides a scope, what else could I add to it?
Anything wrong that stands out?
Definitely an M4. Can tell there's alot of work put into it.
Now, for the bits that look off:
* pistol grip needs to have more curvature in the back.
* forward assist needs to be blended into the upper receiver more (fillet)
* ejection port cover is at the wrong angle. On long axis (back to front) it's at 90°. should be more like 75°.
* Trigger group pins protruding through lower receiver are in the wrong positions
* raised metal around the magazine release is the wrong size
* charging handle is too small
* body of the upper receiver (cylinder of the main body, along the center axis) too small of a diameter
* magazine release button too small (but correct proportions)
* where the upper receiver mates to the lower, you missed the curve at the rear (about 1" forward of where the stock meets the receiver)
(to anyone that hasn't spent a huge amount of time 'wearing' an M4/M16/AR15, the model you have is indistinguishable though)
