Not BS. I was on the USMC that game and we got raped! Yes, the heli got shot down. 3 times by planes that managed to get up before getting shot down, then they were back. The player in question was a freaking legend with the tv missile. He wouls fire the missile at the carrier, and while it flew, the pilot would strafe the island with missiles. Gunner uses cannon on island until missile reloads, and fwoosh! another tv missile takes out a full blackhawk. Or a full boat. Or just hits in the middle of some noobs. Or hits the jet. Or the cobra. but never missed. It was a horrid, horrid game, but biggest ass kicking I have ever been handed. Only time I have ever seen the US trapped on that boat. cpt.fass1: Basically put this way: the essex can take out both j-10s, the z-10, and send the transport chopper back home smoking. On ONE missile reload cycle. That's how insane it is now. Oh and it can do it without getting a solid lock too. Therein lies my complaint about not having to AT LEAST use a little skill and maintain a lock.

i found the best way to cope with it on wake is to bring your squad to the carrier, set up 10 claymores and shoot the phalanx with the M95, works until their commander arties us and all of his teammates lol
I Have to say that is an impressive round.
But how close to the essex do you have be? if you cross over the arty island, good cause it will minimize carrier raping cause we all know how bad that is in wake.
i dont agree with how accurate aa is against jets, but i think things will adjust a little in due time. Meaning before flying a chopper or bombing as a jet was a non thinking task, but now they will have to find the aa and take it out before they do something else. More skill is now necessary as AA will be a top priority.
Once the carrier can read the heat signature. Same for all AA guns. A whiff of the heat signature is enough to kill.
