LOL - My email from Dell

Well I ordered a laptop about a week ago and it arrived today. However the "estimated time of arrival" was the 5th of Feb (next week).

So because it was supposedly a 48 hour "Quickship" I fired off an email:

Hi, I am assuming this is the right email address.

My laptop is estimated to be delivered on the 5th of February. I understand that payment just went through yesterday (31st Jan) and that the weekend is smackbang in the middle, but whichever way you look at it, the 5th of February is 5 days, not 48 hours as was promised on the quickship models. If it is 2 working days, then surely today and Monday next week count as two? It is just that I am going away on the 5th, and would rather the laptop be delivered and I don't have to be waiting around for it.

I guess the estimated delivery doesn't take into account the quickship?

Didn't you get a tracking number for the shipment? I ordered a Dell laptop in October, and as soon as I had the tracking number, I checked daily to see when it would be delivered. I didn't want the UPS guy to leave a box labeled DELL unattended on the doorstep while I was gone.

That kind of happened to me. My cousin gave me a $100 e-gift card to Macy's.com so I bought all socks with it (like 5 packages at $15/ea), anyways, I had it shipped to my old work building, but it mysteriously disappeared. <-- Bummer that. Then my gf kicked me out for a few weeks and neglected to give me any socks with my shit thrown in the front yard. I'm very sensitive when it comes to socks nowadays.

Edit: oh yeah, I almost forgot... I think I kind of work for Dell now... at Boeing but someone else hired me... it's weird, don't ask.

Sober enough to know what I'm doing, drunk enough to really enjoy doing it
