Yeah, I think the one thing that people may be missing in my intent with this thread is simply ...

If I think the best candidate right now is Hillary (whom I don't like for a number of reasons), then just shoot me ... I feel this is the worst field of candidates I have ever seen put up by the parties. I thought 2004 was bad with Kerry & Bush, but those choices actually look appealing to me compared with what is being offered for 2008.

I think its better actually this time around. I watch the news regularly, and I'm thinking its going to be McCain and Obama. Well, this time around I can at least stand to look at as well as listen to the Democratic candidate. When Kerry was running and he was having a debate or giving a speech I would flip past that channel and make a mental note not to watch that channel for at least an hour. I mean, if I can stand to listen to Obama, and even be willing to vote for him if by some chance McCain doesn't get the nomination for the Rep., thats saying a lot. And, I mean come on, everyone says Bush is a moron. McCain would be better than him.
