Wanted to share this with you. I made this for my final exam. I was an industrial design student. Its wattage is around 300W peak and 200 continuous. I made it entirely by myself, even the volume calculations. I was working it at my dad's friend house since I didn't had any proper tools.
I ordered the speakers from Germany, they are made from plane aluminium. I spend more than 400€ for everything including the amp for the woofer but im happy i made it, the sound is just astonishing. I also put some foam in so its isolated and the sound is much softer. I dont like hard bass.

thats a one off box, designed and manufactured in my friends garage, by me and him.

the sub i have now is in a box made by mtx with a 12" 750W sub in it, its not in my car yet

Nope, it doesn't touch the wall besides i've put rubber pads beneath it to prevent vibration.

Excellent design.

A lot of work goes into making them.

I have made a few, for my trucks.

Lining the inside does give it a much better sound.

I liked using an automotive carpet padding (polyurethane foam).

It was easy to cut, and glue.

You did a nice job on the finish.

It is a nice change from the carpet look.

Some more pics especially for Blademaster. I have photographed both of my rooms, one where i sleep and where the TV is and one where my PC is and where i listen to music. You will notice a PC is missing under the TV and above the amp. I just sold it and am waiting for my new PC so my current one will take that place. Unfortunately that also means no HD movies until i get it.

First thing you need to do is come up with a design. I was designing on paper when the idea was born i started modelling in Rhino3D. You will also need some finances, working space and tools ofc. And internet!

those look like 8" speakers, but im hoping ur smart enuff to not build a box for 8" speakers. if they are 10's , i cant believe you would waste that much box with such shitty speakers. cmon man. if u build a box, build a mans box and throw sum 12's or 15's in it. looks like the box is at least capablbe of shitty 12's. at least drilll the holes and give it that

they are JBL 1000's 12"

they just look small because the box is so large, as it is a passive bass reflex enclosure
