I think it would have been way better if they had put in the K-98 instead of the Mp-44. Years of practice with the K-98 in COD1 and 2 down the drain, all because of COD4.
But to stay on topic, yes, COD4 does have a lot of spray n pray, especially in DM, however, on a big map, like overgrown, it can be to your advantage, especially on a SD, or SAB, if your taking a Sniper or M-16.

What cod4 needs is the ability for server to choose air strikes, heli strikes, and martyrdom! Those fucken kill hardcore! Nothing sucks more then having a noob kill 5 guys with 1 lucky nade and then call in an airstrike!

This game needs the ability for people to know what mode they are playing when they join the server and more options for admins who wanna run a ranked server with no Air and Heli strikes. Why? Because i cant seem to find a good hardcore server that does'nt give me 200-300 ping, And when i do it's usually just a spam fest with heli and airstrikes, Especially on TDM. If you wanna play like that fine, I dont and neither do some of my fellow hardcore loving players.
