Not only did he willingly admit to playing World of Warcraft, but he makes computer-related phrases such as 'Pwned' and makes the weirdest examples in homeworks and notes. The guy is around 5'11". Glasses, 150lbs, 24 years of age. His class is rather goofy in my opinion. But it sometimes gets overwhelmingly annoying on tests when he gives you examples you can't help but to just laugh at.

Yeah, my football coaches aren't the best with computers.. So I know they don't do that. lol

It may be a tad geeky, but it sure as hell beats a boring lecturer who can't relate to those he is teaching. I've had teachers who had no outside life and fell asleep in their lectures. I've had teachers that make comments you don't expect them to, and while some of those might be lame, some are funny and the class is always interesting. Those were the subjects I did best in because at least the lectures were interesting (strangely enough physics and maths were my top subjects as well because of the teachers).

True, I just find it hilarious how geeky he is. And this is just the beginning of it, in class he is really goofy. But overall, it is making my junior year enjoyable at high school..

Yea, I think Physics teachers are just naturally cool. Mine in my junior year back in the USA was fucking cool. Nerdy as shit, but he took and then gave back so much shit. I loved it when some student would make a veiled attempt to insult him and then he would just destroy them by revealing something about their grades or something along those lines. Great to see them instantly deflate when the entire class laughs at them.

My German teacher now (gotta learn this bleedin language to continue on at Uni) fucking insults students practically by saying how horrible they are at German or how stupid they act. In German. To their faces, and only a small amount of us in class get the jokes because we all obviously speak German better than the person she is insulting.

Even at University they give you silly test examples. One of my last law tests, (aced it by the way, A+,) was based around the example of "Harry Pothead and the Bad and Nasty Drugs Act 2004."
I do kind of find it distracting when writing serious answers but what are you going to do? As far as Law is concerned anyway if you've read some legal cases you'll find it gets even more fucked up in the real world.

However I've never yet encountered a question asking me to "pwn" opposing counsel nor an example using leetspeak ever through any of my education. I can not be held liable for my actions if that were to occur, but "grievous assault" would probably be in there somewhere.

I'm in Regents Physics, I'm taking AP Physics next year.. Our mid-term is next week. I had a 100% on that test with the McDonald's example. It comes easy for me..
