I was pondering what I should do for an upgrade and figured I would ask you lovely people here on bf2s for help.

Now I was wondering if I should go with 3 of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6814127315

Or 4 of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6814102715

In case you are wondering my rig setup will be as follows:

CPU: AMD Phenom 9600 overclocked to 2.8
Motherboard: ASUS M3A32 MVP Deluxe AMD 790fx
Memory: 4 gigs of Kingston Hyper X DDR2 1066
Power Supply: I'm going to wait for Newegg to get the OCZ GameXStream back in stock because my friend had it before his comp got stolen and he said it was a good power supply
HDD's: don't know if I should upgrade them but i will have one 200 gig and one 160 gig
Sound: On-board audio

Got any links showing scalable performance (specs) when using multiple cards in crossfire mode on DX10 (and DX9) games?

Is there anything preventing you from building a computer that's Intel/Nvidia, like his?

Exactly lol, when it comes to this amount of money I wouldn't take the worse just because of some stupid agreement.
Honestly, go with SLi nVidia cards, and btw that is an nForce 790 chipset right on your mobo? It won't even support Crossfire (ATi cards in multiple card mode) EDIT nevermind ._.

I prefer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a … 6817341010 over all, simply cause kyle recommended it to me and it's great.
