Can someone help me? I noticed that some of you were talkin about lose network connections on bf2, i need some help i dont know where begin, i can play for 10-15 mins untill i lose connection........ could anyone give me some advice?

I can play it at my firends house on my pc fine but when i bring it home and play it i lose connection........ Im going to go haywall if i cant fix it....

Any Advive would be nice plz !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That done, check your firewall, and tell us your comp specs and antivirus program.

check to see if ur doing any DL'ing while playing

(like when AVG just loves to update while i am playing bf2, grrr)

kk i have a single core pc, its 1.53 gigahetz and 1.5 gig ram, 256mb video card and i have spywareblaster, nod32, amd ad-watch for anti-virus programs

That 1.53 GHz single core can't be good.

The minimum requirement is 1.7 GHz.

I thought that, I run on a AMD 1.8 GHz, I thought 1.7 was the minimum?

Welcome to the forums. For the above, go here and select your router and follow the given steps.

Also for your disconnection problems, if the above doesnt work (try it first) try this:

1. Manually update your punkbuster using pbsetup.exe (just to be safe)

2. Download pbsvc.exe from PB.

3. Run it, select the uninstall option.

4. Run it again, select the install option.

5. Reboot if you want, just in case. I didn't and it worked fine for me.

kk, i changed my port numbers, but dont kno if they will work..........., but i am also going to try the punkbuster thing if i get kicked here in a little, brb going to try it...........
