He means someone hit his front door with their car door or something. Geeze, Hitnrun, you're dumb (as I am about to call you out below ... continue reading).
Scroll down and find the section on the 850CSi. We have established that the M badge on this car I took photos of is not original. The 8 and the CSi are, though. The tones of the metal/plastic match each other and the M (obviously) does not. It's still parked outside my apartment.

BMW Motorsport did develop a prototype 8 Series with a lightweight body and a 550-hp 48-valve V12 engine that was known as the M8. However, BMW pulled the plug on the M8 and stated, "We're just not interested in putting our name on cars like this anymore." Instead, a more mild 8 Series with a 24-valve version of the V12 and normal steel body panels was chosen for production. This model was named 850CSi, perhaps because it was more closely related to the regular 850Ci coupe than the M8 prototype or perhaps because BMW did not wish to attach the M badge to a rather large and heavy grand touring coupe.

Read above and read the entire thread you dolt. We've established the badges are fake. But look at the link I posted just above (for like the third fucking time) and you will see the production numbers of the CSi are not that high. 1,510 CSis out of a total 30,621. More 8-series were sold in Europe, too. Even fewer 8-series and 850CSis made it to the USA (where I am originally from).TheEternalPessimist wrote:
Erm the 8 series was mainstream manufactured for 10 years 89-99, the plug wasn't pulled and it's not particularly rare either, there's over 30,000 worldwide (not a lot but I wouldn't call that rare) the M badges are fake BTW.
Wow, you're dumb to even think it actually is one. They look more similar to the 89-90 240sx (I own one) with the front bumper's pignose. But to honestly think this is an S13 fastback trying to be passed off as an 8-series ... wow. Get your eyes checked. Masturbation causes blindness.HITNRUNXX wrote:
I am not a car expert, but you know, I think that is about a 1991-1993 Nissan 240SX...
You should get a nice clear picture of the VIN... THAT, I could check for sure, lol...
Edit: Before anyone replies... I don't think I am quite right, but I do think I am in the right ballpark...
Edit Again Before anyone Replies: Ok, I did some research... It is a BMW 8-Series... "8-Series 850i" or so, from the early 90s... NOT an M8... (But hey, it does look a lot like the 240SX... lol)
Yup I am totally dumb. He talked about coming home and his front door, and silly me thought he was talking about the front door of his house...CapnNismo wrote:

And yup, I am totally dumb... I thought AND STILL THINK it looks more like a 240 than an actual M8, which it is trying to pull off... AND I do believe I said I am no car expert...
Now quit fantasizing about me masturbating you troll.
Lol, he meant someone had stolen his front door. I'm guessing it was a jokeHITNRUNXX wrote:

That was actually what I thought originally, but it didn't seem feasible, so I thought maybe he meant kicked in his front door... But apparently I am dumb, so oh well...bennisboy wrote:

Yeah, you are right, they look absolutely NOTHING alike... Considering I haven't seen one in 12 years, I think remembering a 1993 Nissan 240SX looked ANYTHING like it at all was a nice accomplishment...

ALTHOUGH THEY ARE MAKING A NEW ONE !!!!!!
they havent released an 8 series since the 90's

'nuff said
And the 1993 front end isn't close enough. Try a 1989-90.
You're still cock-eyed enough to think they look alike enough to make that mistake. At a distance or a glance, I can do with you. But when the car is staring you in the damned face, how blind must you be?

Nature is a powerful force. Those who seek to subdue nature, never do so permanently.
I saw a 850i yesterday. I love the old 8series
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
1) I knew it wasn't an M8, and THAT was staring me in the face too.CapnNismo wrote:

2) I did some research before you even had a chance to respond to it, and I corrected myself with the correct vehicle.
3) I didn't see any posts correctly identifying it before mine, so while I could have missed it, I tried to be productive and help out.
4) I STILL think it looks very similar to pull it from memory after so long.
5) You are still a troll.
6) Have a good day sir.
From wiki
"While the M8 was never produced, it is interesting to note that the 850CSi was also tuned by BMW's "M" division. Aside from sporting an M-tuned engine (as identified by the S suffix instead of the M prefix that a true M car would wear), the car's VIN identifies the car as being built by BMW Motorsport (identified by the WBS prefix) instead of BMW AG (WBA prefix). This effectively identifies the 850CSi as essentially a detuned version of the M8"
So maybe the OP pic is an 850CSi, and the guy just got custom logos or whatever?
edit: On closer inspection that's what it looks like... he got the ///M symbol and the 8 from 850. The 8 doesn't seem to be inline with the ///M

No such thing as a M8 so quit saying that there was one.
The 850CSi was the top of the line version with V12.
Which was essentially a detuned version of the canceled never produced M8.

Does that look like the "M8" you saw mister OP?
Didn't think so.

8 and 7 series and the old skool 6 series is where it's at.
7 Series E38 (before it went curvy/baby/shit)
and I like the 6 series, but the old one was still cool. If you notice, both have shark-like appearances. Seems to be the theme for the 6 series
Love that inwards front grill

S2000's are pretty rare too. They shouldn't be, but they are. I'd take that any day over an MX-5 or similar. Get rid of the vinyl graphics and change the gold rims into some deep-dish rims of the same size and you'll have a winrar.
