im done with BF2 or any bf game. me and my best friend have enough crap already to decide to never venture back into BF.

All the patching and they still could not solve the problems. If you see other games like CSS or WOW they are patched nearly every month.
They are popular and getting more popular in order that their developers do/fix/add thing to the game.
I guess for EA/DICE its not so important to make the users happy. And as they said its expencive to make a patch. Why cant they involve the community to help them out in testing or the editors from the mod teams would help for free to add new guns/skins/awards/maps.

We are the one who spend 1000 of hours on maps and we are the one who know where are bugs/glitches and what is needed to fix.
I hope EA/DICE will realise it...I will stay loyal to this game as i like it and im not alone.

I didn't notice, it is dead yet.
I still play BF2.
Not as often as i did before having my new job, but that's only a question of time.
I still can enjoy playing BF2.

Because everybody is just running for their points and so all the great mods (AIX, POE2, FH2, PR) out there really don´t have any chance to make a living.
People try them out and realize "Oh my god, where are my leet stats ?" So they drop it.
Just look how long 1942 survived, because people played it for the fun and not for the points.

Edit : For me it´s not dead at all, I just moved on to the mods.

The mods suck....that's why they don't have a chance
