Well, I agree... The M14 is pretty good. The only thing I don't like about it is the recoil. It goes too high to pepper off shots to distant targets accurately. If I click as fast as I can, it seems to go way too high to do any good.FatherTed wrote:

Both are good in skilled hands. IMO the m-14 is slightly better when you learn to control your shots. My only complaint is the acog "sway" on the rifle. It pisses me off. I point it at their head and a half second later the chevron moves...I suppose the "sway" was for balance purposes but still its annoying as hell.

G3 is good but M14 is better.
All the guns are good on hardcore. G3 probably wins though as it has the best accuracy/refire/reload rate.
M14 + ACOG = Best Sniper

G3 with silencer on standard/ACOG on HC is major win. It is easier to use on standard especially, because lining up multiple shots rapidly is vastly easier.
