So, about 10 minutes ago, I heard a tap on the wall. Since our neighbours have been moving around a lot, I thought I'd tap back, just to see if they'd notice. Well, I tap the wall, and he taps back twice. I tap trice and he four times.
Then he does "Knocketiknock-knock-knock knock" and I respond by that. This continues for a minute, and he starts tapping Eye of the tiger (Yes, it does work really good in knocks), wich I, ironically, just listened to. So, we start a duo knocking of eye of the tiger, almost the whole song!
When we were done, I thought I'd go and thank him for a good laugh, and find him half-way to my apartment.
He gave me like 5€ worth of coins. Then we loled for ages, I thanked him for some good fun, and we both went to our places.
Haven't had this fun with a neighbour ever before

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
