Look at where Florida is vs. Michigan.

Look at where Oregon is vs. Michigan.

Oregon beat Michigan, who beat Florida.

How could anyone in their right mind place Florida ahead of Michigan.

Oregon should be ahead of Florida, and maybe even Michigan.

This is thus proof that CFB polls are biased, pieces of crap that poorly represent the actual state of CFB.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Oregon went to shit once they lost Dixon, how can you justify them ahead of Michigan and Florida?

I think Florida's a little high, but should be ahead of Michigan.  Even though UM won, I think Florida's the better team.

There is no way you can say "Team A beat Team B, who beat team C. Therefor A is better than C."
That is just ridiculous.

Remember how the Ravens almost beat the undefeated Patriots and lost to the winless Dolphins just two weeks later? Would that make you rank the Dolphins higher than the Ravens in an NFL-Ranking?
You just can't compare single games the way you're trying to.

College football polls aren't intended to realistically rank teams according to strength ... they exist simply as a mechanism to increase interest in NCAAF, providing a fantasy ranking system between conferences.

That's why the polls always highly rank teams from weak conferences (such as Hawaii in the WAC), even though they would most likely have a losing season if they competed in one of the elite conferences.
