After many an attempt, (and a bit of help from slo-mo and unlimited rockets) I have managed to strike the Hind in "Game Over" over a dozen times.
It does absolutely, positively, FUCK...ALL...
What's the point of being chased by a helicopter (other than having awesomely cool destruction surround you as you escape) if you cant hurt it back?
Ah well, I had my fun.
All Ghilled Up is definitely a great level. That part where you crawl past the armored convoy was really intense. I also really like the one where you fly in the gunship and use the IR with the different machineguns. A very basic level, but very fun and cool.
What did you guys think of the bonus mission after the credits? I thought it was a cool touch. Probably an extra level they wanted but couldn't find a way to fit it in the storyline.
And is it me or are Soap's missions waaaaaaaaaaay more fun than Jackson's? Jackson's are just run-of-the-mill shoot 'em up levels in a Middle Eastern locale. It's been done many many times before, and all the missions felt the same, none really stood out.

Shock and Awe being a notable exception, no?
*SPOILERS*
The one where the nuke blows up? Borrrrrrrrrring. And I find it really cheesy that throughout the whole game everyone dies except for Soap. They could've at least left a few other characters alive so it wouldn't seem too ridiculous.

The grenade launcher isn't run of the mill.
Additionally, some SAS missions are just as run and gun as the USMC ones you were complaining about. Raiding the Azerbajain houses and breaking into the missile complex were both undistinguished from the USMC ones.

All Ghillied up and Death From Above

Why does everyone like all ghillied up, that last part where you have to survive near the ferris wheel is impossible. I had to lower the difficulty, and also if you headshot the guy your supposed to, he comes back later...wtf? I like the AC-130 gunship level the best, and that last part on the bridge was crazy.
If you notice, you hit him in the arm and blow it off. Even though it looks like you hit him in the head and seems like you should have, you always hit him in the arm.RandomSchl wrote:

From what? Veteran to Hardened? That level is heaps easy at the Ferris Wheel...RandomSchl wrote:

Listen to what MacMillan says at that part in the level.RandomSchl wrote:

Death From Above is too slow. I would've preferred to be on the ground and have to point out the targets. And the final part on the bridge isn't crasy, it's Epic.RandomSchl wrote:

But you have to admit, it'd be freaking epic if it did happenbakinacake wrote:

Spoiler (highlight to read):
You see Captain Price getting CPR at the end. Are you really sure he's dead?

Charlie don't surf
When all the blackhawks are flying into [generic middle eastern city] and the RPG's start coming up at the group.
Then sliding down into the sheer chaos on the streets, I've played through the level a dozen times, and still get the feeling of anxiety and uncertainty at the turns. The TV station is brutal but beautiful with all the exploding equipment and shit all over.
The whole level leaves your teeth bared and knuckles white... or at least prevents you from grabbing a cheeto now and then.

Singleplayer is the best part of that game.
Fuck what anyone says about "Death from above" being boring, there is nothing more satisfying than killing little people with big fucking guns.

LIEK LAWL...seriously, SP is fun. try it.
Favourite level? Gotta be 'Charlie Don't Surf' or 'War Pig', just because they're so action-packed.
Maybe 'Mile High Club' on another difficulty other than Veteran

I rather fancy the automatic grenade launcer when your in the chopper and also HEAT when you get to hop on the minigun still alive on the blackhawk =].
