Something that just occured to me today while starting up BF2. That message window that shows up every time you log on that was suppose to keep the community up to date on various issues...... whey don't they USE IT!!!!!

- Account Login Welcome Screen

After you login to an online account, a message appears that
contains BF2 news and information which updates periodically.

They should have just said:

"This is going to be an extremely annoying addition to your BF2 experience. Even if we did offer useable information instead of just adverstising more crap for you to buy, you'd still have to close BF2 and log on all over again. We hope you enjoy giving us your money...errr.. I mean....."

Perfect example: The phantom unlocks we got, would have been nice to know what was going on with them before we just starting choosing new weapons. God forbid they put it there so we HAVE to know what's going on. How about when they are having problems with their stats servers? FFS EA, that is a perfect tool to let us know what is going on and you just advertise more shit for us to buy!!! What ya'll think????

True that. I reckon they should tell us what the hell is going on every now and then. I still havn't taken my phantom unlocks for various reasons, (like wanting the P90 and L96A2, but also because I'm not sure what the hell their deal is,) and what EA is giving us at the moment is as useful, in fact, identicle to a popup ad when you're on the internet.

EA, you have a good tool with this popup thing, put it to good use! Tell us what the fuck is going on!

EA.. who are they but a meir ghost to BF2, when was that last patch, only god knows and if someone can remember the date off the top of your head, here is 5$... Its a great idea what you have said, i mean it only takes one person to do this..

Person in charge of the window- "Hey guys, good morning, so what are we gonna do today?..."
EA patch workers -"I was thinking a game of strip poker, they girls down 2 cubicles are Hot!"
Person in charge of the window-"What about the BF2 players, shouldnt they know whats going on?"
EA patch workers -"Who are these BF2 players you speak of?.. Ooo look the game is starting!"
