COD4 Achievements

Ok, so I know there are "achievements" you can recieve in cod4, such as finishing FNG under 18s, or getting 4 consecutive headshots. My question is this. How do you view the achievments you have recieved, and what good are they? I mean, if it was MP, then it would give you XP, but in SP, whats the point? I cant even find a menu option to view them.

PS, anyone beat "Heat" on vet? I cant get past the part where you have to go back down the hill.....

because the achievements are only on xbox. there are no achievements on the pc version.

on heat on vet when your going down the hill is hard, i just hall ass down and dont shoot anyone, took me about 12 tries though lol good luck.

lol i finished the game on vet...

i dunno about just running straight down the hill... i ran down shooting anything that moved.. took my 2 goes though

I ran along the left trench, then just continued straight foreward and down a road (should be a couple of enemies here) then instead of following road when it turned right I just ran straight on and jumped down a small cliff and landed at the landing zone
