Did you also notice that they have 'references' to BHD in "Shock and Awe".

When the Cobra goes down, the commander says: "It's your call....." Then the pilot says: "We know what we're getting into."

The reference is when the commander said it was Shaugart and Gordon's decision to go in... I just noticed that.

Well sorta the same thing (kinda) like all of COD1 is from movies. The stalingrad river crossing scene is like exactly from enemy at the gates. And compare Caretan in BOB with it i COD1 (which one was made first, i dunno, crap). And the bocage level is very similar. Okay so not all but a good bit.
