General Category Handgun and Category E Handguns - VP304B
This licence is held:
for target shooting
to work in the security or prison industry
to be a firearms safety instructor
another official, commercial or prescribed purpose.
Category C, D, E Longarms or Heirlooms Licence - VP321A
Category C licence is held for:
clay target shooting
clay target shooting possession on behalf of a junior licence holder
primary production
professional hunting
another official, commercial or prescribed purpose.
Category D licence is held for professional hunting.
Both Category D and E licences are held for other official, commercial or prescribed purposes.
An Heirloom Licence is held for owning an inherited single firearm or matched pair or firearms only.
Category 1 Firearm Collector's Licence, Category 2 Firearm Collector's Licence, Antique Handgun Collectors, and Ammunition Collector's Licence - VP321B
Category 1 Firearm Collectors Licence is held for collecting handguns made before 1 January, 1947, and longarms.
Category 2 Firearm Collectors Licence is held for collecting only handguns made after 1 January, 1947.
Antique Handgun Collectors Licence is held for collecting only handguns made before January, 1900.
Paintball Marker Licence - VP1268
This licence is held by persons who wish to hold paintball marker licence.
Provisional General Category Handgun Licence - VP1285
A Provisional General Category Handgun Licence provides applicants with the ability to attain the preliminary requirement to qualify for a General Category Handgun Licence.
Junior Licence - VP325A
This licence is held by persons between the age of 12 and 18 who wish to hold a Category A, B or C Longarms or Handgun Licence.
Corporate Licence - VP305A
This licence is held by organisations wishing to:
become licensed to own and possess firearms for the lawful pursuit of the club
operate in the security and prison industry
engage in primary production
engage in professional hunting
another official, commercial or prescribed purpose.
Only organisations registered with the Australian Securities Commission, associations incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981 or a similar Act from another state or government department, may apply for this licence.
Victorian Firearm Dealer Licence - VP302A
This licence is held by person and businesses wishing to carry on a business for the purpose of:
acquiring firearms, parts or ammunition
disposing of firearms, parts or ammunition
hiring firearms, parts or ammunition
lending firearms, parts or ammunition
transferring ownership of firearms, parts or ammunition
exposing or offering for sale any firearms, parts or ammunition
manufacturing or repairing any firearm or parts.
Point being, Vspy, none of these allow carrying of guns by civilians on the street. Enough detail about gun laws for you?
Also, if you live in another state, queensland especially, then do whatever you want. No one wants queesnland anyway.
