Say what you will about Load/Reload and St. Anger, but these guys can still rock those classics

One - the pyrotechnic intro is awsm

Orion - Another cool song, first time played in full since Cliff's death

Master of Puppets - The Metallica theme song

I will not leave this earth without seeing Metallica live.

Metallica is really repetitive. If it wasn't for their solos, they'd be pretty bad... Well, I like Fade to Black, and other similar songs - but they extend their songs too much.

Enter Sandman - Call it what you will (cookie to whoever gets that reference), but the Black Album was great if you ask me

Battery - Fast and angry

Metallica WAS good, until Cliff died. It went downhill from there tbh

Metallica does not extend their songs too much, Dream Theater does, and even worse, they plan out all of their solos cause Petrucci's too damn lazy to improvise.

DT plans their songs, and there is actually some diversity
Metallica: 3 riffs throughout a 5 minute song, always alternate, always get repeated.

Petrucci has gotten lazy though, and DT's new album is not up to standard : /
However, Jordan Rudess is amazing! He writes most of the songs, or most of the good ones anyways (second part of Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence).

Symphony X is nice, but inconsistent. They tend to make great and terrible songs.
