So they finally released the Mitchell Report regarding to players in MLB using performance enhancing drugs and the related. It is crazy because it list players like Roger Clemens and Miguel Tejeda as in people who have been sold the drugs. Here is the actual report. It is very long. What do you think about this situation?
I'm not surprised Roger Clemens was listed. How do you think he became Roger "The Rocket" Clemens? And still being able to throw that great at the age of what, 40?
America's new favori-- wait, it's not new. America's favorite pastime is poor sportsmanship, like of true athletic ability, and cheating to win (using steroids or doing other things).

Baseball and Basketball have gone dooooooooooownhill.
I'm a Yankees fan and was not surprised to see Clemens there. Pettitte though... that's fucked up.

The Me Report!
The Me Report!
15 more years! 15 more years!
Meh, happens in all sports. IMO baseball was just starting to get back on track after the last strike. Of course something has to come along and knock the sport back into line. I will still follow the cubs, and still watch baseball.
My apologies.Canin wrote:

Now that names have been released and for the most part proven I expect that all these players will have any awards/records stripped from them.
I love Clemens and hope its not true. But in all reality it is and he, Bonds and the rest of them need to be erased from the record books.

now when ya watch baseball they will have to move in the walls. nobody will be able to hit home runs anymore..lol a bunch of pussy's will be using nee pads and playing slow pitch.
i think pour on the roids let the players get massive and when they play they can smash the ball to mars!! who cares why does it matter now they have been using this long. u think they the old farts that created baseball didn't use...... they were probably worse!

It appears the Yankees had the best players......erm druggies.
We got Torre
Drugs destroyed professional cycling and I think they're going to destroy baseball. Now I'll never look at a great player without wondering if he's taking steroids.
I'm from a neighboring state, and I can say that most of 'em are.topthrill05 wrote:

Funny how you manage to pick out the Yankees when the 80 players collectively represented all 30 teams in baseball.Acrnstlkr wrote:

I used to love those old Braves teams...Justice, Terry Pendleton, Jeff Blauser, Deion, Otis "I'm a crackhead skeletor" Nixon, Mark Lemke, etc. They are still my NL team.ig wrote:
