Why is MTV called MTV? Why isn't it renamed to "Teen-Vision" or "Reality-Teen-TV"?

I live in Finland. I'm not blessed with MTV2, VH1 or other channels that might actually play music. Or should I say "that might play actual music", because every time I do happen to see a music video on MTV instead of a Reality Show (or pseudo-reality show), it is bound to suck ass. And I've seen the bad excuse for a music video 150 times before. The channel is looping the same shitty videos that are getting way too much airtime already.

What happened to "Headbangers Ball"? Where is my "Alternative Nation"? Give me "Music Non Stop" with those shitty videos for all I care, but throw in some good stuff in there as well. And where the f*ck is "Superock"?

I want a channel that broadcasts a variety of musical styles.
I want a channel that plays good music on prime time, and not 4AM.
I want a channel with other videos than something produced by fu*king Timbaland.
I want a channel that plays music.
I want a channel that employs people who know something about music, and not just people that happen to look trendy.
I want a channel that plays other than 3 minute videos.
I want a channel without 15 minute commercial breaks every 10 minutes.
I want a channel without ringtone adverts that make me want to throw my TV off the balcony.
I want a channel that doesn't cut into videos after the song has started and cuts out of them before the first chorus is through.
I want a world without TRL.

I want my MTV.

I need around tree fiddy.

You at least got MTV. MTV got replaced by CARTOON-FUCKING-NETWORK a year ago over here. With GAY fucking swedish voices. It kills the little joy you could get by watching cheap american cartoons.....

Indeed, MTV sucks ass. We have two more 'music TV stations' in Belgium, called JimTV and TMF. They both suck about as much ass as MTV.
And MTV has been partially replaced by Cartoon Network here too, but with very gay Dutch voiced that make your head burst.

MTV today is a total blesphamy against all good music on earth. If they happen to play some music it's just the usual mainstream shit you hear on the radio all day long. Like Britney Freaking Spears.! I mean, COME ON????

I watch MTV Base sometimes. All they fucking play is RnB. Where's the Hip Hop. Fuck RnB what's the point in it. You can't dance to it and it's just queer and only gays and girls listen to it.

Screw it, YouTube is my media player. MTV was never about music. Or was it. I only watch Pimp My Ride on that channel anyway. The rest is shit. "My Super Sweet 16" makes me want to kill something.

Because all the motors weigh more than a simple manual mechanism. That or it's a design issue and the doors simply didn't make it feasable. Or perhaps there is no place to put the buttons. Or the wiring would've been messed up.

Quesiton: When you see someone with something expensive, why does one assume that it must be full featured and can do everything? Must be that same logic that sells cell phones these days. When you buy a Ferrari Enzo, that's a car made from people who are payed to design race cars. The Enzo is a very adequate spawn. It's not the first car for a 16 year old brat bitch's birthday.
