Anyone explain this one?

https://i232.photobucket.com/albums/ee53/SFSSnake/CD-Key.png

Basically, I uninstalled BF2 today to try and sort out some FPS issues (and to try some V1.0)...reinstalled up to 1.41 and Im getting the above shit.
Ive uninstalled/reinstalled BF2 3-4 times today (BF2/SF/1.41/EF/AF/1.41 everytime), both automatically and manually - and this bullshit message wont go away.

My key is legit, it came with the game. It allows me to play V1.0 on ranked, PB servers then as soon as I patch it up, it all falls apart and gives me that shit.
Anyone have any ideas? Because I am out of them

Your registry is likely messed up.

(a) Go to the Tech help thread (stickied in this section) and follow the directions for invalide CD Key

(b)  If (a) doesn't work, then do a complete manual reinstall

Registery definitly.

BATTLEFIELD 2 GUIDE

Click Start.
Go to Run.
Type regedit and hit OK button.
Click on plus sign next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
Click on plus sign next to SOFTWARE.
Double click on Electronic Arts folder.
Double click on EA Games folder.
Double click on Battlefield 2 folder.
Double click on ergc folder.
Data displayed will probably have x9392 only.
Right click on it and select Modify.
Type in x9392 and then your CD key.
note: don’t include hyphens.

Example: x9392(your Battlefield 2 CD key here)

You, sir, are a legend. On the BF2s EU Unranked server for the moment, so ill see if ranked works later. Ill probably have to do the same for the SF CD-Key as that is also causing a problem.
Thank-you very much!
