You can tell how informed the people who make these lists are. They never include games like Civ4 and DefCon. The potential to commit unspeakable horror in these games is far greater. I remember the old Masters of Orion games actually had a 'genocide' button, giving you the option to ethnically cleanse planets you just invaded and nobody gave a shit. Shoot and stab a few hundred people and they have a big strop about it.

Seems like everything targeted at younger audiences always gets the shit.
I'm actually writing a paper this week about how ridiculous it is to point the blame for acts of violence in the real world at games, so this may come in handy.

i laugh at the ESRB ratings. if parents know that some videogames are bad for children, then why do i got to ebgames on a weekly basis to hear little shrimps pushing their parents to buy $300 worth of games. sadly parents have no choice but to buy the games just to shut them up.
