Damn though, I haven't really spent enough time in any other states to make a decision since I've mainly passed through. I've never been to Illinois for more than a day and stayed in South Dakota for about 2 weeks on several occaisions. Crap, I need to get out more.

NY seems to get one hell of a reputation, I think most of the US forgets that NYC is such a small blip on the map compared to the whole rest of the state. In fact NYC screws the rest of NY over because of the money Albany spends down there.
