The Fox body 5.0's were badass. If all goes well I should be getting one before too long.
I guess I didn't state myself. Most people who drive Vettes or Mustangs are stupid and retarded.BlackKoala wrote:

If you think that is orgasmic you must have very low standards.stryyker wrote:

Muscle V8 = wayyy less than 100k (with very few exceptions)
that pagani with the 12 is what.....500+?
that pagani with the 12 is what.....500+?
Because muscle cars are... muscle.
You can never replicate the resonance and shaking that a big block 440 can do. Never. Letting the muscle car era die, is like losing a piece of history all together. Fight the cause, one exotic ricer at a time.

to be honest, American cars aren't popular here (can only speak for my own country) at all....
now chevy is bringing out these so called "European" versions, they are ugly as shit.
some cars are nice, but my taste goes towards decent European Cars (BMW, Mercedes, Audi) Spyker looks cool too.
about these so called "muscle cars" would N E V E R buy one myself, but thats me.

Well, I made that judgment based on whats readily available/price/reliability here in US (i.e. not a lot of Citroens here).jord wrote:

You should of gone with European. Italy makes the best sports cars in the world. An Alfa Romeo coupés and saloons aren't bad. France as well is pretty good. Us might be slightly infront of Britain on mainstream cars. It's close, but neither excel at the average persons car. America is mostly Pick-ups and SUV'S as well as Muscle and we're mostly sports and luxury.
I wouldn't, but that's just us. I doubt it will catch on here, I'd rather buy a proper sports car.^*AlphA*^ wrote:

I work in Newport Beach (asshole capital USA). I see a lot of corvettes, mustangs, +ups on the scale.
Everyone. everyone is an asshole with them, but thats mostly California traffic on the norm. My theory, Price of car / time spent working on car x gas cost x asshole factor x yearly income x macho factor = shell of a human.
I am a firm believer that everyone should rebuild an engine/change their own oil/fix a flat at least once in their life. Cars these days are too hands off, centered around bullshit factors like airbags. Airbags make you weak. Fuel injection makes you weak. GPS in-dash makes you weak.
A 650cfm carburetor makes you strong. A 3500 pounds steel chassis makes you strong. Large displacement engines make you strong.
I guess opinions are punishable by death these daysif my friend heard you say that, he'd probably kill you before you could do it to yourself.

I saw Corvette yesterday in front of my school, but it was first american car in many days (months?) except Ford....
Isn't there some ugly ass Ford hatchback that's doing well in Europe and/or abroad though? I can't recall the name, but only that I would never buy it.
If the muscle car era never existed we would have lower gas prices. There would be smaller suvs if any.stryyker wrote:

Ford Focus. It's fucking ugly as fuck. Old people's car. I shot one with a bb gun a few years back.DesertFox- wrote:

Oil is a resource, scarce at that. That means that prices will always continue to rise, until it runs out. Supply and demand my friend.
Not to mention the Oil Embargo of the '70's. Also, state and federal taxes on gas is the real expense of it.
soccer moms are responsible for SUV's, not muscle cars...The#1Spot wrote:
