I don't mind paying to send it back to Finland so don't worry too much about the cost on my part.
2 weeks would be an approximate time, but then again, Christmas is causing troubles.teamorange wrote:

There was a large discussion on the Temp forums about putting files on the CD, but overall it was decided that it would be best if we didn't - the only way of everyone putting something on the disk would be a multi session. Not everyone knows how to do this, and is one person closes the disc, we are fucked. Another problem with doing this is that the disc is going around the world in nothing more than an envelope- there are high chances it will break.
So, the answer is no!

As much as I would like to upload a ton of porn onto that CD, I WILL NOT let that thing anywhere near my computer after it's been halfway around the world and into the hands of half of you people.
Has it sprung to anyones mind how hilarious the consequences would be if our mail, by chance, was intercepted randomly by some intelligence service, that opened it to find a CD-rom that contains a dozen adresses from all over the world and perhaps a dozen lat/long coordinates?
I have a 10gb hdd here with xp on it.. I can run the disk without any internetzCougar wrote:

Best thing would be if the cd was protected..

/!\ INFORMATION /!\
OOKAY lads. Some more or less approximate dates.
The signups will close this friday, 30.11.2007
We will then settle the route over next weekend, and inform people about it. Then we have to PM people the addresses they have to send the CD to. Those will take their time.
The CD's journey will start next week, estimatedly on Wednesday - Friday.

Uhm, what would be handy is that you include a CD holder in the package like this:
To ensure the disc survives. And also, please close the disk or insert a Flashdrive, so we could put a picture of ourselves on it, holding the cd.
