The current maximum range of PR is 1584m with the M40A3. But how would you know how far it was? Range markers disappear at ~1100m.xkullx wrote:
And long before you where talking about your vid i have done really long range shot, one that was around 1400, but it may be in a mod or something had like 5 mods installed a while back.
lol so its set up if ur practicing its not real ur contradicting your selfBull3t wrote:

I think you're misinterpreting dbss' usage of the word 'setup'. No one is saying that a 995m shot is impossible.Bull3t wrote:
Owned?
We we're just practicing.
I thought maybe I would record it and see what happens. I did not expect it to hit the second time. But sure as hell enough it did.
I do not need you to tell me or xkullx how far it was. We know how far it was, It was not set up. I have many many videos from what we we're doing. You don't believe us? Fine, We will be making another today I believe.
To show you, Though we have nothing to prove with both know it happened and that's all we need.
So,Unless you can make a better shot and get it recorded then do not talk shit.
It's not impposible.
And no one is wanting any e-peen to get bigger.
By the way, Nothing was setup. I have the original recording right here and there is nothing edited or any of the above.
If you do not believe me, Then that is your problem.
Later.
He was referring to the fact that you guys went into an empty server and you stood there for xkullx to shoot you. Now that's a setup, it wasn't a regular round, just a little 995m sniper puppet show. If you know how much bullet drop there is, then it's just a matter of spraying until you get a hit IE deviation randomly being 'just right'.
You planned for him to shoot you, you were standing still waiting for it to happen. How is that not a setup? Jeez.Bull3t wrote:

Its easy, just take a boat and drive until u se the range marker, turn around and add the range to where u were standing.ScoutStrike wrote:

So you spot an enemy (which also has a range limit of ~1100m), place an attack order, take your boat back ~300m, place another attack order to add the distance, take your boat back to original position, spot, replace the original attack order, take your boat back ~300m again, then start shooting? ^.^xkullx wrote:

Yeah, duff shot guys.
Would be impressive if it was in a live game and on the fly, but a set up shot which could have taken feck knows how long to set up?
no cheese i'm afraid boys

Doesn't take that long, you'll get a hit within the first ~15 shots if you know what you're doing.Buckles wrote:

yeah, i know that. But still not impressive compared to a shot taken on the fly in a live game, eh?ScoutStrike wrote:

Who cares if its set up/practice, I'd like to see you guys make a shot like that...
lol, if i had access to BF2, an empty server and a clanmate, i could reproduce that in less than a half hour. I think anybody could
That is exactly what I'm hinting at.Buckles wrote:

lol, thats only fractionally more set up than me shooting the f35 on wake with the chinese tank from the island in an empty server.
its impressive, but im sure people could go further if they practiced long enough, which is all it comes down to.
