The power supply is fucked ... or so we think.

everything is fine, boots ok. Then after anything from 10 seconds to a minute the power goes off.

The power supply but on back where the power cable goes into was quite wobbly, so skiving off work and going up tomorrow to buy a new one

I feel you disappointment, when I got this computer all brand new and stuff they forgot to actually send me a WORKING Harddisk. So I ended up with a dented harddisk which was making more noise than a jumbojet and it wouldn't store any data! Stupid PC companies.

I don't know much about computers, but I'd try a Power supply first, and if that didn't work, then move onto the Motherboard..

A PSU is cheaper, and a lot easier to install then changing your motherboard..

Can you still access the BIOS on boot-up?
