I would say the general lack of moderation in general. I understand that with a community based forum there will always be arguements between people on certain topics, but there are so many people that just need to be banned because of their constant need to insult others.
Yeah, bf2s had a lot less 'junk' back in the day, but the more members you get the more junk you can expect. Honestly, all the people that say "Ohhh this site sucks so much now and ever since so and so left these forums have gone to hell blah blah" are either drama queens or people that just want this place to have gone to hell. Are you looking at the same forums I am? Because I have yet to find anything better. I've been here since the day this site went online and the worst I have ever seen this forum is when spawnofthemist was around. For me, the forums have not been ruined.

BF2S is very much alive and well. After two years a lot of people have come and gone and a lot more has been said (agree with or not). We've all found our place, chose our battles, flamed in rapid response, and laughed our asses off at our own silliness - BF2S Rocks On

I simply couldn't agree with you more. Every 4-5 months someone makes a post like this, saying the good ol' days used to be sooo much better. Now I haven't been around since day one, like Home, but I've been religiously browsing the forums since around October of '05 (didn't register until December), and unless those 2-3 months before I got here were absolutely orgasmic, I really don't see that statement being true. To all the people saying that "half of the original members are gone", what do you mean by that? Half of the people that registered on the first day don't post anymore? Surely not, that's ridiculous.
