All the lame posts and replies that people are posting to try and become "Cool". I actually have to dig through a bunch of garbage to try and find an interesting thread, and sometimes it isn't worth it.

What ruined BF2s for me?
Well, I don't know really. I registered in the moment the BF2s(-Forum) got online: 2 years ago. It was a pretty small community, everyone knew everyone else. The site worked, and I wrote some hundred posts. I still have chuy and a few others (B. Schuss, for example) in my X-Fire contact list, although I don't see them anymore online.
What ruined BF2s for me is the number of users around. I am happy for chuy who may be proud of how this giant project has turned out, but it isn't our lovely community anymore, it's big one.
Of course, there are also other facts like my engagement in German communities like ComputerBase.de or my very own website.
