Smirnoff or Stolichnaya?

I just wanted to create this poll to see which of the two vodkas you prefer and why?

Personnally Stolichnaya is my favorite and it is in my opinion better than Smirnoff.

Smirnoff is alot weaker than Stolichnaya.

Dear God please let my karma one day reach 100, whether it be tomorrow or 1000 years in the future i want it to happen.

Bahh people are saying Smirnoff is better they obviously have tasted good vodka.

As a bartender for 3 years I can certainly tell you that neither are "stronger" or "weaker". Just look at the how much alcohol there is by % on the bottle.

Stoli and Smirnoff are both considered middle of the road in quality, right up there with Absolute. If i'm drinking vodka by name(usually in a bloody mary) i prefer Level, but Goose is very good. Most of the time I could care less about the brand, as long as it isnt Aristocrat or anything in a plastic bottle.

Oh, to answer the question at hand. I prefer Smirnoff between the two

I've never heard of Stolichnaya but Smirnoff's OK. I'm not really into vodka though, it's a bit on the heavy side for me. I prefer strong beer, liquor tends to burn too much to my liking.

Isn't Smirnoff blue label (Smirnoff Export) like 10% stronger than standard Smirnoff red i.e 50% as opposed to 40%?

Hmmm...i'm not sure. I'm not familiar with any of those variants. Here in MS there are some pretty strange laws on the maximum % we can sell; it may be the case that we just dont have those here. bummer too, a lot of good beers arent available here because their content is too high
