Edit: ok, if you delete a post, the posts after it move down in number, i had a 'testing' post before this and deleted it, and as you can see, the number of this post is consecutive to the last. therefore if deleted posts count, then your number would be higher than 1888, and you said they count thus proving yourself wrong. BOOYAHH

How so? The post is still number 1888, and that was my statement that that was post 1888. Disprove the fact that the number at the top right hand corner of MY post (the one that claims that it is post 1888.) that it says (hypothetically speaking, of course.) 1888.

it doesnt say anywhere that that number refers to the post number, therefore it is not claiming to be the post number, it may just be a coincidence that it is, and the post number would be 1888 yes, but it is not post 1888, it is just the 1888th post to still be in that thread at that moment in time, if i go back and delete an older post of my own, it will change (i will do that if necessary)

You wouldn't admit you can't prove something wrong even if you couldn't.  You would just try to prove it wrong anyways
