Hahaha, I thought I was going to be the only one posting an 8088...
Mine was bought by my family back in 1984. I was young, but have vivid memories of the thing.

Intel 8088 @ 4.77MHz
640KB RAM
Dual 360K 5.25" floppies
Hercules Mono Graphics + orange monitor.

No hard disk, they came later. Two 20MB drives were fitted eventually.

Hercules mono ruled. It ran high resolutions (720x350 I think), and two shades of white (orange).

I've still got the motherboard and a floppy drive from it, as well as a floppy disk of text mode games.

The **very first** computer I had was a Commodore Pet 2001.  It had 4K of memory (we upgraded to 8K - W00T), b/w integrated monitor.  Storage was a casette tape drive.  Our was serial number 175 I think.  I still have it.  It's the greatest artifact of my pop.  It doesn't run any more, I think the power supply is fried.

The best thing was the keyboard - little mini-keys.  We called them chicklets.

mine was an early 90's macintosh, one of those with the integrated monitor...this thing was huge! i don't remember the specs, but this thing sucked balls. i don't remember what happend to it, it may be lying around my parents house somewhere in the attic.

the second machine was an 800mhz pentium II, 64MB PC100..upgraded to 128! a whopping 8 MB of storage. it played Rogue spear and Diablo II fine. i was 1337 at rogue spear!

Oh man, my very first PC? I can't even remember all the specs on it, just that it had 2MB of RAM and was some 386 series PC that still used those huge ass floppy disks to really do anything, as well as the 3.5inchers for anything that involved games and having to use DOS as the main staple of file execution LOL.

Those damn PC Speaker sounds the game made before I even knew about Sound Blaster is all I really remember "Blip... blip... BIHRRRRMMMmmm..." Doom never sounded so good when I Finally got a soundcard fit into that thing LOL!

I think I will Win this, it was a IBM AT Clone 286 It had Two 4.5 floppy Drives one was Quad density. So that meant one was 500kb and the other was almost 1 mb. The hard drive was 20mb and it had to speeds 6mhz and a turbo button that made it rock at 8mhz I used to play ( 688 attack sub ) (Chuck Yeager's AFT )
and ( F16 Falcon AT ) I did all my early Company stuff on it with a pirated version of lotus. It didnt like the Summer heat. Ran good in the cooler months.  My ex wife has it.
