meh, i've paused my bf2 play pretty much. I'm gonna sit and wait patiently for that promised patch that eventually will come out.

WEll sine im just a SGT i am kinda new so im not even close to being tired. But im sure when i make 1Sg or MSG i will get tired of it.
i stopped playing mindless ranked bullshit on public servers altogether unless there's a whole squad of my clanmates online and we can team up. but even that is getting boring already - it's not fun winning a round against point hungry cretins you know. a lot of ppl seem like they don't care one bit about wether they win or loose as long as they see those tasty figures in "score" column, so they just run around with gl or stay in one place looking through the scope of their sniper rifle for the whole round regardless of what's happening on the battlefield.
that's it - ea screwed their own game with that point system imho. i actually thought this game was supposed to be about strategy and teamplay (eehh... lol) but it turned out (again) that bloody revenue means more to ea that any accomplishment in the field of making a good team-based fps games.
however there are still clan vs clan matches and THAT is another story completely. i suggest to those who's bored with public servers - find a clan. yeah, i know how many people feel: "oh, beeing obliged to read through forums, participate in those boring training sessions and stuff - that suxxorz...". well, i felt like this myself, actually, but i found a small clan of cool people and changed my mind. so, just try it.

Well, im 16 so not every chick is good at that either...
I just get tired of repetitive games, like most Karkand servers at the moment consist of everyone running at hotel with grenade launchers blazing... well making that pohck noise they make while a few vehicles mow down anyone in site... yawn.

I still have fun playing BF2, but I've stopped reading this forum because everybody sees fit to fill it with shit.
I see your point, but I disagree and the "point" system part. When I was playing Joint Ops, there were no ranks or medals, yet the strategy and teamwork is the same as it is in this game. People just want to do what they want to do. They paid for the game (well most did,) so its up to the individual on how they want to play it. I would love to use teamwork and strategy, but I gave up on that months ago. Most of the time, the squad you join has people all over the map. Someone is in a plane, another in a tank, and somebody sniping.Shahter wrote:

Clans are no better, I see them spread all over the map. I have had cases where the squad sticks together and it is really fun, but those moments are hard to find.
ive played over 500 hours, sergeant major, 81,000 points, and i still look forward to playing some bf2. LOVE IT!

lol i met a a dude on bf2, we own in a chopper, so i love doing that, and i just enjoy playing the game, never get bored

I stopped playing BF2 coz it was boring playing with noobs.
Now I joined a clan and its completely different. Its way more fun! Co-ordinating strikes with TS real tactics and stuff. Hell with my clan I'll probably get WCR, we keep winning round after round when we are pubbing

Hmm... sounds like you really gotta get out of the funk you're in. I don't think you're just tired of bf2... I think you're tired of life. I get that way sometimes and I cope with it by being spontanious. Go bowling... sounds gay but it's something different (if you don't bowl). Go for a walk, or go out and test drive a car you'll never be able to buy... change it up a bit and after a while, you'll settle back in to what is comfortable and be content for a while. Then repeat when those feelings come back. It's not healthy to keep a routine if you're tired of it.Berserk_Vampire wrote:

still love BF2. Even after so many hours, there is so much to learn and discover about this game. I surely haven't played every kit to maximum extent ( mostly playing medic ) and I haven't even had the time to get a joystick, so all the flying ( helos and planes ) is still completely unaccounted for.
and although I have SF, I haven't played that much ( too much hassle here in the forums ). This should get worse when the bosster pack comes out.
Right now, I am thinking of joining a clan, so I can get down to the real tactics.
BF2 is surely going to entertain me for a long time to come.

I'm kinda gettin' bored; that's why I play Karkand/Warlord alot now (used to be Wake); but now I think I'll join a Clan to see what it's like...
if you ever get bored of the game then just go and watch Black Hawk Down. That will get ya in the mood to play
