If you know how to use it correctly it doesn't suck. It's mostly for medium to long range fighting.OholibaH wrote:

I have both the M95 and the L85A1. Couldn't be happier with them
M95s are useless, grab a L85A1 and help the team.
Checked ur stats.....medic about 40 hours......imo take the SA-80(L85A1),
get used to it and rock da house

Use single at range, but make sure you let the cross-heir drop before firing second round.
Taking a look at your stats I see that Medic if by far the most played kit.EMStorm wrote:

First let me say that the kit you play the most is the unlock you most likely want to unlock.
Hence I would say take the L85A1. This is a great gun that requires skill and practice. Once you are down with it you will love the gun in the medic role. I see that you have already unlocked the G3 which shows me you already have at least some shooting skill and probably like to medium range snipe with the G3 as assault. If you like this then you will do just fine with the Medic Unlock.
Of course the next group to look at would be the DAO-12 for AT and the G36C for Spec Ops. However I would wait on those and see later which class you play the most and then choose that unlock. Also do not forget that you can in fact go to Non-Ranked servers that have all weapons unlocked and give each one a try and really see which one you really like to use.

I'm sorry for my foolish put-downs on the L85A1, I've finally mastered it and my Assault Rifle ratio boosted incredibly.
So I would go for the medic unlock too.

since im mainly playin spec-ops i got myself the G36C and its a great weapon.
but the L85 is also nice and i used it several times from fallen medics on kirkland you jsut have to get used to it.
and as long as you are not playin the urban maps all the time i wouldnr recommencthe DAO or jackhammer but thats my opinion since i dont like CQC so much

There are several threads on this already...and they all say about the same thing. Whatever kit you use most, unlock it! Else try using unlocks that you can pick up from other players. I've tried almost every unlock this way.
i dunno mort, the g36c isn't much of an upgrade from the m4 compared to a lot of the choices out there. personally, i'm deciding between the l85a1 and the m95. i got about 1500 more pts. to go.

as a decision helper, you might consider playing on a server that features global unlocks. you won't earn points, but you can pick whatever weapon you want and try them out for a while.

well, i'll vouch for the PKM. the thing is worlds apart from the SAW/RKP. it is accurate and packs a punch. i'd recommend the PKM simply because i don't see a lot of difference between the M4 and the G36C, but I know that most of you are gonna flame me for this.
my next unlock is coming up, and I still haven't made up my mind. I already got the L85A1 and the DAO-12, as I play medic or AT 95% of the time. I might take the jackhammer but I hear people say that the PKM rocks.bluehavoc8686 wrote:

LOL! ArkAng37. I agree, the G3 is great, but few ppl play as assault enough to upgrade to it. Still, thanks for not being a nade launching noober.
B: Believe it or not, I upgraded to the PKM before I ever even got my basic support badge *gasps* and now I play as support with the confidence in knowing that my weapon can actually hit the broad side of a barn let alone kill ppl. That damn SAW is so worthless, it's unbelievable. Anyway, I dunno. If you don't think you'll play as support much, I wouldn't get it. G3 might be a good choice, but so would the M95. BTW, how many pts. to go?

erhm.. Corporal is 10,500 points, fellas. got a little bit more to go than you thought.
EDIT: Bluehavoc, I've recently been honing my skills with the support because I want to unlock the PKM.. and I have fallen in love with the saw... this one time on dragon valley I run around a corner and theres three guys in a line.. I quickly hop to my belly and just sweep all three of them away in a matter of seconds. I've also taken out many snipers with it. and they were shooting at me. so like most weapons, when used correctly it can be good.
but I've picked up the pkm multiple times and LOVE it... and it actually SOUNDS powerful. the others sound like bbguns.
