walk up, press one*this is to get out your knife*, left click your mouse when your beside and facing the enemy, congratulations you have a knife kill, now do this 100 more times and 18 in one round
slashing with your mouse while giving your knife hit give you more chance to hit

Try hitting Alt + F4, its an instant kill.

I tought today lets get the basic knife combat badge.... made 11 kills with my knife in 1 round (64 map)
Now i am not getting the badge :S

sometimes it takes a day to come up like i have 2,591 global points or something but im still a corpral

Yes 11k's is sufficent. If you did not recieve the badge, were you sure that you were playing on a ranked server?
7 k's with a knife in a round is all you need for you basic and 50 k's + 7 for veteran. Doesn't matter which kit, but medic would be the best to use. Good speed for the class and you can heal yourself after gettting into a fight and getting a kill. Did you see the following thread?

The most important thing to remember in a knifefight is...dont laugh. Laughter causes shaking of limbs and loss of hand-eye coordination.

My rule of thumb
Always walk with your rifle/MG/SMG out.
The only time you should have your knife out is if you have at least 5 seconds to attack someone. If you see that magical 5 second window, press the 1 key, go prone, and knife the guy.
Works for me, and I got my Expert Knife Combat.
