These are my specs according to Xfire:

Manufacturer: Dell Inc
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3500+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.2GHz
Memory: 1022MB RAM
Hard Drive: 116 GB
Video Card: 56MB ATI Radeon X1300PRO

What graphics for 2142 can I do without lagging? I was told by some friends that I could just make Medium graphics ... but I want you guys opinions, seeing as most of you are smart

BF2 and 2142 are memory hungry, so at least 1.5GB is highly recommended, but with that X1300 you are going to be graphically crippled, regardless of RAM.  I would say low settings are all you are going to get.

I wouldn't even bother trying to play 2142 with those specs, mine can't even do it and I have a 2.2GHz P4, 2GB of non-DDR2 RAM, and a Radeon X1650PRO 256MB GDDR3 AGP.

Low, with no Anti-Aliasing. Sorry, but your specs are pretty awful!

I can play 2142 superbly usually, only if I have all low graphics, so I usually have them graphics. Thanks to all who commented.

You have a 56 MB Video Card?

Don't you need at least a 128MB Video card in order to play BF2142 according to the back of my 2142 box.

Medium, I've ran BF2 and 2142 on all low settings perfectly fine with a Radeon 9800.

I'm assuming he meant 256.

All low. That graphics card is absolutely horrid.

: edit : ah, I thought you meant for BF2. Well, let me put it this way... for BF2 that graphics card would be horrid. For BF2142 you may as well draw the pictures yourself.

I had a 9800 Pro, I certainly wouldn't call the performance in those games 'perfectly fine'.
