- BF2: SP Worth buy?
depends on your play style...if you like all out assault type fights like BF2 then no...if you like to play the more stealthy roles and move in the shadows then yes...it's an entirely different style of play than BF2 (atleast the night maps)...there are some day maps which are cool, but they are pretty small and VERY fast paced...if you play BF2 and absolutely hate tank whores then this game is for you, neither tanks nor helos seems to stay alive too long in this one
The day maps I have seen are huge. Warlord and Surge are real big. Iron Gator isn't AS big, but because of the scenerio, it isn't meant to be.||BFA||xZeler8 wrote:

The NVG stuff on the night maps takes some getting used to and the novilty of using the new stuff is distracting, plus everyone is running around all crazy shooing tear gas and throwing flashbangs at anything that moves, but that will wear of in time.
So yes. The tactics have changed, but it's worth it.
im going to buy it. mainly because of the fact that i love infantry combat way more than i like vehicle combat. the jeeps and 1 tank in this expansion can be delt with. i cant wait to get it.
Totally worth it, i dont really see alot of sneaking around except in the night maps. The day maps are: Grab a gun and charge into a house with 20 enemies. Its pretty much all infantry, some maps got tanks and apc but very little like karkand.
Christensen, is that a picture of you? If so, what do you do for the AF?

a big reason i bought SF is for the new weapons
SP? Single player? That sucks balls in BF2.CRIMS0N_W0LF wrote:

But seriously SF is awesome. According to your account you are from Malta. Just check if you there are SF servers nearby since the game seems more bandwidth hungry than vanilla.
Clear! Ok, you're good to go!russ)=spetsnaz wrote:

Special forces is a awesome expension pack
Special Forces is better than you.
nightmaps are fun but few servers run it.
With current pricing, I think the extra unlocks alone are worth buying SF.
this is almost two years old. im sure the op has decided if he wanted it or not. this should just be closed. or lay waste to useless spam and answers that arent needed...Lai wrote:
