I wrote another email to EA, here was the second reply after the first scripted one:
This is Jul with Electronic Arts Technical Support. Please allow me to answer your questions as much as I can.
1) ME: what happened? EA: This is what EA|Dice, EA Customer Support and all the Battlefield Partners are trying to figure out. If this is exactly identified, then a fix or solution should follow. Apparently, some servers are sending "stats snapshots" while there are some that are not. We are reviewing gigabytes upon gigabytes of server info shared by yes...Ranked Server Providers (who has been cooperating with us since pretty much the start of this outage)..
2) ME: are you going to fix it. EA: We are in the process...yes.
3) ME: please, just some kind of ETA. EA: Being an outage, we cannot provided an estimated timeframe when this will be finally closed.
4) ME: will our stats since 6-14-07 be lost or not. just tell us, the truth won't kill. EA: While every effort will be made to include stats gained during the outage, there is a possibility that those earned during this brief period will not be reflected in your final stats total. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and apologize for the inconvenience.
EA: Update: As of 6-25-07 we are still working on this issue and appreciate your continued patience.
