Never seen one that buff though, they're usually really skinny.
What's that guy up to these day, and why doesn't he just shave off that stupid hear since he's not in comedy no more.

who is carrot top ?
I doubt it. If you eat a proper diet, you can easily look like that after a year of working out. You could also take creatine to help out. Why use steroids when there are such easy alternatives? I've been working out for 4 months and I've gained 20 pounds and look a hell of a lot bigger than what I was before. i just eat healthy foods that are high in protein, and also I take creatine.
Are you serious? You seem exactly like the type of person who would watch Family Guy, I'm really surprised you don't know. I mean obviously he has been around long before Family Guy, but he was in at least 2 episodes.Andoura wrote:

Wha.??.. If he is straining out over 30 lb bells (see pic. two) or even needs to pick them up in his routine the he is weak. I rep twice that & haven't used 30's in years. He my be cut, but he ain't jacked.ChevyLee86 wrote:

I stood in line for four hours. They better give me a Wal-Mart gift card, or something. - Rodney Booker, Job Fair attendee.
That's true. 30 lbs isn't much at all. Maybe he's on creatine or something. I know it just adds water to your muscles basically. Wouldn't that cause you to just look ripped, but not really be that strong at all.DBBrinson1 wrote:

Creatine won't make you look big, it just helps you recover a little faster for your next workout. A normal guy lifting weights three days a week could very easily get that big in < a year. If he was using steroids, his hair would start falling out and he'd be covered in nasty-ass acne.BolvisOculus wrote:

Also, only n00bs judge people on what weight they're using. It's all about your technique and your routine. There are some massive freaking guys in my gym that work out with relatively small weights. Carrot Top is so lean that you can easily see his muscles working beneath the skin. Guys like that barely have to move and they look like they're straining.
QFT, its better to lift smaller weights more times than bigger weights less times.chittydog wrote:

Not necessarily, it depends on your goals. In general, liftings bigger weights less times builds mass while lifting smaller weights more times builds endurance. If you want to be big, try 3-4 sets of 6 reps on each muscle group with as much weight as you can lift. If you're trying more to be lean and fit, go for 2-3 sets of 10 reps with a slightly lighter weight.
Here's an awesome example of what you can do without 'roids:
Between his movies The Machinist and Batman Begins, Christian Bale put on 100 lbs of muscle in six months. Here is his before/after pic:

A personal trainer, a proper diet and a few hours a day in the gym can work wonders.

Doesn't the former tone your body while the later builds muscle?xBlackPantherx wrote:

He's easily funnier now than then. Just looking at him makes me laugh, hard. What a freak of nature. Ginger kids ffw!!
I suck at lifting weights. I use to be fairly strong but now I just can't get a good routine down anymore. Doesn't help that I dislocated my right shoulder so severaly I had to have surgery and then seperated my left shoulder a few months ago. I haven't been able to work out my upper body hardcore for roughly 2 years. Right now I'm sitting at the 30 lbs. again, but I usually go for 3 set with 10-12 reps.
Man, I was really worried for a second. In the UK buff means really attractiveS.Lythberg wrote:

Like "man she's buff, I'd tap that"
so you can see why I was worried!
I can see his pubes in the second picture.

Only if you misuse it. It exists naturally in your body and is safe as long as you supplement with < 500mg per day. The problem is that most manufacturers recommend about 3 times that dosage. Use it in moderation and it's fine.bennisboy wrote:

I'm less worried with the picture as much as the fact that you noticed.xBlackPantherx wrote:
