That damn gun friggin' pwns...

...me. Been killed many times by it. Had it once...once...got off one round...missed...got killed...cursed under my breath and left to have a sandwich.

-They aren't placed in super secret hiding places, they are found around selected spawns but they are in out of the way places and is somewhat tedious to get.

-Not all pickup guns are available on all maps, but your best bet is that there is at least one at the main/starting spawn (maybe except Fallen since its a infantry only map), but there can only be one player carrying the gun at any one time, IE a new one won't spawn till the existing one is dropped and "biodegrades" (It also means the enemy can steal them)

Actually, many weapons like the MG3 and Anti-Material sniper rifles spawn 2 or 3 times depending on the map.
