Another fine example of the general population failing to think about what idiotic thing just came out of their mouths.

So what does your corner of the world contribute? Us leaving the US behind = 6th largest economy in the world. We obviously do something usefull around here. Dont get your panties in a bunch when someone says something you dont like. That just makes you sound less American and more like a crazy islamic nut who cant take a joke and goes insane.InnerMonkey wrote:

Wow, lots of assumptions. "Us" vs. the rest of the country was a terrible way to start a comment btw. You're actually proving the point you think I was making. Kudos on that one. I'm sorry that you feel California is more successful than most of the world and therefore I don't have a right to a comment. Further, you equate usefulness to wealth, and I think that's pretty sad. Then again, that comment came from someone in Hollywood, home of the vapid and shallow. Whatever would I do without another shitty movie, boy band orgy, or tainted vegetable. Tell ya what. . . when the majority of the country can be asked about California and the conversation not invariably steer toward soccer mom laws and celebrities, I'll take your comment more seriously. Until then, I'm sticking with the majority and I'll continue to chuckle at the state ran by the Terminator.golgoj4 wrote:

Oh, my panties aren't bunched. It's hard to read so much into my mood through one short sarcastic sentence, so I'll cut you some slack on that one. Anyone, even someone in California, makes a mistake from time to time. I'll not think you any less American or more Islamic for it. (wtf on that one btw, country vs. religion...ooookay)
I stand by my comment. It's rare to hear of something good coming from California.
Screw that.. I saw them the show before the accident. We go every year, it's a family thing.

Yup! And if it weren't for our killing machines we probably would be speaking Russian and eating cardboard-potato soup.-=raska=- wrote:
In quebec city too we had a few complainers about the blue angels when they came last year. They were saying that we were entertained by killing machines and that it was a waste of fuel, etc...
So we have this kind of ftards in pretty much every city.
People should also consider the fact that carnivores rate among the most popular of pets. Killing machines.

Hmm, random stereotypical verbal muddbutt about ca when you know pretty much jack shite about it obviously. I was just pointing out that your chucklehead mentality gets nobody anywhere fast. Funny how you don't mention where your from. Thats cool. I don't have to put down other states ad naseum so I can feel better. Hell, I actually appreciate the difference in the states because even things about Ca annoy me. But you assume its all one hippie commune. :rolls eyes: I was just stating the fact that California's strong economy and diversity of industry makes it an asset to the US. Last thing we contributed...well your on a cpu, so either intel or amd. those are in ca. so is the HQ for ea games. They obviously have worldwide fabrication plants and studios, but essentially, the whole goddamned reason you are even on this website is because of ideas produced by companies based in ca. Little thing called the silicon valley. I wont get started on other industry. Just keep all your disphit Hollywood this and Hollywood that crap to yourself. People buy it. But all people think is that its potheads and celebrities... And how can you hear anything when you don't actually listen.InnerMonkey wrote:

I'm in SF and I think that's a pretty damn dumb idea too, so it's not all of us. There's plenty of good reasons why to have it. Good recruiting event, an awesome show of talent and skill on the part of our fighter pilots (their all active duty, no? at least ex...), and it's only a few times a year -- not really a waste. There's so much else you could focus on and put your weight behind -- just doesn't make any sense. *sigh*
So true.InnerMonkey wrote:

The anti military wacko's never used to be so prevalent in the city as they are today! In the old days, the Presidio was a major west coast base right in the heart of San Francisco. . . . There were anti aircraft batteries all over the city and surrounding bluffs!! SF used to have fleet week every year!! It so sad to see the deterioration of our military history due to anti american assholes!!
The fact that some left wing liberal douche bags have hijacked the city makes me incensed!
Im also a big fan of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. . . . . especially this muther fucker -----> Gerardo Sandoval http://www.sfgov.org/site/bdsupvrs_index.asp?id=39080
This guy says the United States shouldnt have a military!!! Thats right folks, no military whatsoever!! He is the guy that went on Hannity and Colmes and made a complete ass out of himself!!

I think they're a waste of money and fuel. Unless they bring in enough money from airshows and events, but I doubt it. Somone prove me wrong?
Yes, because all liberals are like this, aren't they? We're talking about San Francisco here, of all places. As is the hallmark of liberals, these oddities arise when there is nothing left to bitch about.
Fucking stereotypes.

I like San Fransisco... it was a very nice city when I visited. This however, is just whacked up.
Where'd you get that from? I said nothing about conservatives.ghettoperson wrote:

If they would ban them that would be a serious loss :the blue angels are the pride and glory of the airforce i allways watch their shows on youtube/tv here....
I would be honored if they wanted to fly over my city/state/province w/e...

I never used the words hippie commune. Those are your insecurities speaking, not mine. You continue to push the attitude, telling everyone how thankful I should be to CA for existing because nobody else could run a factory if CA wasn't there to show them how. Great! Kudos to you! I'm sorry I ever doubted the GENERAL FUCKING PUBLIC. That's right, I was originally speaking about what I hear about California. As in, what is the general stereotype (you've got it pegged by the way). I gotta keep that in mind, else the next reject that can't see sarcasm when he reads a single sentence comment will get all bent out of shape too.golgoj4 wrote:

San Fransisco is a bunch of tree hugging, Pole Smoking hippies! One good thing is that the area off the coast of San Fransisco is a great place to find Great White sharks. We need to organize a nice ocean swim for all those ass hats! And then again there is always Alcatraz. Paint it pink and say there's going to be a fabulous Rave there, then just lock the place down once they're inside. Problem solved!
500 people in a city of over 750 thousand...
Why is this even an issue? Who gives a crap? 500 people on some obscure website aren't going to accomplish anything. Most of the people responding to this thread seem like they're just itching for a reason to bash SF for having too many gays/liberals/whatever. Grow up.
